Inventory + Logistics Manager

I’m Shelby, the Inventory and Logistics Manager here at aba TRADES. Not long after finishing school, I dove headfirst into the world of Plumbing. With over eight years of experience, I haven’t looked back and wouldn’t have it any other way.

My main mission? Making sure our technicians have exactly what they need to get the job done right—whether that’s managing vehicles and tools, wrangling suppliers, coordinating the warehouse, or solving the random problems that pop up daily. I’m the person who makes sure everything ends up where it’s supposed to, when it’s supposed to be there.

As the longest standing (and probably most stubborn) member of the aba TRADES crew, I’ve worked my way up from admin/CSR to Office Manager, to my current role now. I do my best to keep every day a little different from the last and never dull! I’ve spent some of my biggest life moments here—buying my first home, marrying my best friend, and welcoming our first child—and I couldn’t be more grateful to have done it all surrounded by this loud, slightly chaotic, but incredibly supportive work family. We have such a wholesome, supportive environment that breads amazing culture which is why our team is the best out there.

Fun Fact: I spent my childhood travelling Australia helping my mum run speed-boat racing events – including some world championships. Honestly, I’m still not sure how I’m not deaf.
