Team Leader

I started my plumbing apprenticeship in the Barossa at age 22 and in my second year, I moved to the city to finish learning construction plumbing. I worked large-scale commercial projects for several years and eventually became a Site Manager for six years before making the switch to Maintenance with aba TRADES — even though I had very little experience in the area at the time.

I started at aba TRADES as an Installer and worked my way up to Team Leader. Part of my role now is supporting and encouraging other team members to grow their skills and advance their careers, too. This company is a great place for that — the growth opportunities here are excellent.

Every day I focus on consistency and maintaining a level mindset. I really value the support I received here over the years. It’s helped me buy a home, and I genuinely feel looked after here.

Fun Fact: I can play the didgeridoo.
