Team Leader

Hello, I’m Brendan. I’m 31 years old, born in Victoria, and to all you single ladies out there, sorry – but I’m happily engaged with a beautiful child and one on the way.

I started my journey as a plumber/ air-conditioning technician when I was 18 years old, starting my apprenticeship in Victoria and finishing it off in South Australia. I’ve now been in the industry for almost 15 years, and I still love what I do.

My role as a Team Leader at aba TRADES involves helping my team with their day-to-day responsibilities, ensuring all jobs are completed smoothly and efficiently, and dealing with the boring administrative office stuff that comes with the job, but I love the company, so I’m happy to do it!

I’m all about safety and my number one priority is to make sure all the techs in the workplace come to work happy and get home from work happy and safe. Culture is also very important to me. It’s one thing to go to work and feel like just a number, but here at aba TRADES, we come to work and feel like a family – from the office to the field we are one big happy family, and I strive to do my part to keep that culture going. The quarterly work events, the team BBQs, the charity fundraisers, we’ll find any chance to just hang out as a family.

I call aba TRADES a workplace but in all honesty, I look at it as my home away from home. I hope you all enjoyed reading a little bit about me and I look forward to serving you and getting to know you better as well.

Fun Fact: My fiancé and I were thrilled when we had our beautiful first born child, Cody. When all the excitement died down after a few hours, I noticed Cody’s hair colour was bright red. We both have dark hair so we’re still trying to work out where that comes from!
